Got a pallet to send? Before it gets collected, there are a few simple things worth checking.
Is the pallet in good shape?
First things first, have a look at the pallet. If it’s cracked, broken or looking a bit worse for wear, it’s probably not the one to use.
You want something that’s strong enough to hold whatever you’re sending and handle the journey.
Get everything packed up
Once your goods are on the pallet, make sure they’re not going to move about.
Stretch wrap is handy for keeping boxes together, and you can use straps or extra packaging if you need it. Try to spread the weight across the pallet and keep everything within the edges.
Basically, give it a good check before it leaves.
Check your delivery details
Before you book, make sure you’ve got the right collection and delivery addresses.
You’ll also need the pallet’s size and weight when you get your quote, so it’s worth having those to hand.
